Some Corporate Email Addresses Temporarily Unavailable

(Sept 4, 2016)

Due to an overabundance of spam being sent to the SCA's email addresses, some of the corporate internet protocol addresses have become blacklisted.

While we are working to rectify the problem through the appropriate agencies, please note that any electronic correspondence sent to comments@sca.org or directors@sca.org is temporarily unavailable.

Until the situation is resolved, please take note of the following workarounds:

All correspondence sent to comments@sca.org should be sent to sca_comments@sca.org All correspondence sent to directors@sca.org should be sent to sca_directors@sca.org.

If you wish to contact a particular Director or Society Officer directly, please feel free to do so as there is no problem with individual email addresses.

As soon as this matter is resolved, we will be in touch.

As always, comments on this or other topics can be sent to the Board at sca_comments at sca dot org .

Sincerely,

Aaron L. Lloyd
Vice President, Information Technology
(mka Baron Aaron Palomides of Buckminster, KSCA, OP) it@sca.org

Use AmazonSmile to benefit the SCA, Inc.

If you shop at Amazon.com, the SCA can benefit from your purchases at no additional charge to you!

Here’s how: Go to smile.amazon.com. Sign into your account and a pop up page will appear. In the “search” box type in: Society for Creative Anachronism and click the search button. Click on the top one and you are done. Your donations will be automatic for any purchase within the Amazon Smile program (which is most merchandise). You can also use the following link. http://smile.amazon.com/ch/94-1698556

Amazon will donate 0.5% of each purchase to the Society for Creative Anachronism. These donations will be deposited quarterly from the AmazonSmile Foundation into a separate SCA corporate account dedicated for these donations.

What is the AmazonSmile Foundation?
The AmazonSmile Foundation is a 501(c)(3) private foundation created by Amazon to administer the AmazonSmile program. All donation amounts generated by the AmazonSmile program are remitted to the AmazonSmile Foundation. In turn, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates those amounts to the charitable organizations selected by our customers. Amazon pays all expenses of the AmazonSmile Foundation; they are not deducted from the donation amounts generated by purchases on AmazonSmile.
